Where is my order? Can I track a package?
When you place your order on the website, if you provide an email address, you will receive a UPS Tracking email once your package(s) ships out from our warehouse. This email will contain the tracking number for the package(s), which you can then use to track your package.
When will my order ship?
Ground orders ship within 1 - 3 business days. Once your order ships, it should arrive within 5 - 7 business days. Business days are considered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. If you want to get your order faster (we get it!), we also offer expedited 2-day shipping. All expedited orders will ship by the next business day.
Where does Squirrel Brand ship?
Right now, we only ship within the contiguous United States. Eventually, we hope to be shipped across the world.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free UPS ground shipping on all orders over $50. Ground shipping is just $13 for any order under $50. We also offer UPS Expedited (2-Day). These prices are calculated at checkout.
What if there are order delays?
We do everything we possibly can to make sure your order arrives on your scheduled delivery date. However, once a package ships, there can be factors outside of our control that may come up. As a policy, we do not offer refunds for delays caused by one of our shipping partners due to weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disaster, inaccurate shipping information, mistakes on the part of our shipping partners employees or similar reasons that are outside of our control. That said, we know how important it is for your package to be delivered on time and we may be able to offer accommodations in exceptional circumstances.
Can I include a gift message with my order?

When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club credit cards or debit cards. Unfortunately, we cannot accept checks or money orders.
What can I do if my payment is declined?
Oh no! Here are a few things to check if your payment didn’t go through: Check that your card’s billing details (such as the security code and billing address) match what you’ve entered into our system.
What allergens are contained in your products?
All of our products may contain peanuts and other trees nuts due to being manufactured on equipment that processes peanuts and other tree nuts. Certain nuts contains milk and/or sesame. Certain products containing nuts may also contain egg, milk, wheat, soy and/or sesame and are labeled according to current allergen regulations.

Are your products gluten-free?
John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. (JBSS) recognizes sources of gluten as defined by the FDA: wheat, rye, barley and their crossbred hybrids like triticale. Our facilities allergen control program, labelling program, and procedures work together to assure that product matches the label and articulates in the ingredient statement presence of gluten ingredients where appropriate. Some of our product offerings do contain gluten and are produced and packaged within the same facility. The separation, segregation, and sanitation measures that we take are verified to indicate that we appropriately manage gluten segregation. We routinely test our gluten free products to ensure that they do not contain traces of products that contain gluten.
Does your facility contain milk allergens?
Milk is one of the allergens in our plant. This includes casein and whey. Nuts may be run on shared equipment with these milk products.
Are your products non-GMO?
Squirrel Brand Nuts Products may or may not contain GMOs.
What is the shelf life of your products?
We can only guarantee the freshness of our products up to the best-by date. This date is used as a guideline for our consumers and as a point of reference for our records.
Where do I find the best-by date on your packages?
The BEST-BY date can be found on the bottom of the tubes and on the allergen sticker on the bag of nuts.
Your package indicates that your nuts are processed in the United States. Are they grown in the United States?
Our nuts are grown in the United States unless stated otherwise on the label. Nuts grown in other countries, per current regulations, require the Country of Origin Labeling.
If nuts are seasoned or coated they are considered substantially transformed and do not require Country of Origin labeling per current regulations.
Are your packages recyclable?
Our bags, tubes, and gift boxes are not recyclable due to the material we use to help maintain product freshness. As a company, we employ many procedures aiming to protect the environment in multiple ways. We stay committed by conserving energy and focusing on waste and energy reduction throughout all of our facilities.
What is the best way to store nuts?
Store nuts in a cool and dry area. You can also refrigerate them to help extend their freshness.
Are nuts roasted in cooking oils that contain transfats?
No, our nuts are roasted in cottonseed, peanut and/or sunflower oil.
What processes do you use to reduce the risk of the presence of harmful pathogens in your products?
Our nut products are treated or pasteurized before being sold to consumers in North America to provide consumers with a safe and quality product. Several methods are commonly used in the processing of nuts which include roasting, steaming and propylene oxide (PPO). The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has approved PPO treatment as an acceptable form of pasteurization for almonds. PPO is a surface treatment which has been approved for use on foods since 1958, and is widely used for a variety of foods such as other nuts, cocoa powder and spices.
Do you offer Kosher products?
Yes, we are Kosher certified. You can view our certificate here.
Where do I find the UPC code?
The UPC is located under the barcode where the product is scanned at the store during purchase. The UPC code is 12 digits.
What should I do if a store sold me an expired product?
If you purchase any of our products from a retailer or wholesaler and the product is past the best-by date, we recommend that you return or exchange the expired product directly at the location where it was purchased.

Are there products I cannot return?
We cannot accept returns of edible products (unless damaged in transit), personalized products or custom orders.
